Application Support Specialist - Technical Support
The Application Support Specialist will provide technical
support for FieldOne clients by helping them install and use our
management software, including training business owners and their
employees to achieve optimum performance. The Specialist will
communicate with them on the phone, and will also answer emails
sent by clients asking for support or information. Salary range:
$50,000 - $55,000 per year.
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with and supporting client-side software programs
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with customers to quickly identify the source of the problem and provide an appropriate solution
- Technical proficiency including a thorough working knowledge of the Windows operating environment, networking, and hardware and software issues that may impact the operation of our software on client machines
- Knowledge of business and accounting applications like Intuit QuickBooks - preferred
- Ability to consistently and quickly respond to clients
- Professional demeanor and a disciplined, thorough approach to your work
- Desire to learn more about the product and improve skills to help serve our clients
- Experience in designing reports and custom forms using Crystal reports or MS Access - preferred
- Flexibility in work hours and knowledge of foreign languages

- High-energy, cheerful, courteous, disciplined and patient
- A natural ability to assist people and to understand what is needed, how to organize and present the information, and how to incorporate customer input and feedback to improve our software and training material
- Very strong communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully
