Setting Up the Mobile App

mobile1.jpgThank you for using FieldOne's mobile app. Whether you're using the iPhone or Android version, the installation is simple.

It only takes a few steps to install your mobile app and connect to the program:

  1. Upgrade to the latest version of the desktop software by clicking Check for New Updates on the Tools menu in the desktop program.
  2. Once the desktop software has been updated, visit the Android Market or iTunes App Store on the phone, and search for the FieldOne Mobile app.
  3. Download and install the app.
  4. When installed, start the app to setup a connection to your server.

Note: Your router should forward Port 16001 to your application server machine. The contract with FieldOne does not cover support for this issue; your IT personnel should be able to address Port Forwarding or firewall configuration. For an added fee, we can offer additional support. You may also visit Connect from Remote Connections in our User Manual, but that page concerns desktop software, so the port number should be changed to 16001.

For customers who already had the Windows Mobile version working, there's no need to configure anything further.
