The FieldOne Difference
Fast
FieldOne software was designed from the start to radically minimize the amount of data entry required to run your field service business.
Every phase of a job will get done more quickly: setting up service calls, scheduling technicians, keeping track of inventory, recording and invoicing sales, and more.
You'll easily track technician profitability, customer sales and service contracts, equipment and service history, and inventory. You'll be able to pursue the most profitable type of service accounts and projects - because you'll know which ones are most profitable.
Nothing will fall through the cracks with this workforce management solution, including revenue that needs to be collected.
With up-to-the-minute, accurate data at your fingertips, you'll make better business decisions without wasting time digging for information.
Affordable
FieldOne is packed with functions, at a price even the smallest service business will appreciate. No other program even comes close to the FieldOne "function-for-price" ratio.
It's actually possible to make field service software affordable, if you set out to do so from the start. In our case, it was a conscious decision: we wanted to help even the smallest businesses enjoy the benefits of unified workflow efficiency.
We've also chosen a very simple pricing structure: you simply purchase a license for each end-user. There is no "server fee."
That's why a single desktop license for the basic version of FieldOne is only $695.00, and for the professional version is only $995.00. The associated mobile licenses are only $495.00 and $495.00, respectively. Whichever version you start with, our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee applies.
Familiar
Our interface uses elements and concepts you'll recognize immediately; FieldOne looks and behaves like so many other software applications you use every day, especially Microsoft Office® applications. Screens, commands, and tasks look familiar and simply make sense. That's not something you can take for granted in a system that does as much as FieldOne. Plus, the FieldOne user interface is consistent from screen to screen, which cuts your training time and will make your whole team more productive.
FieldOne will look familiar to you for another reason. It was designed in partnership with field service business owners. All of the functions and their associated screens flow smoothly from one activity to the next. For example, when you're working on a service call, you enter the parts needed for the work order. That data flows from the PO Quote to PO, to PO Receipt, to the Work Order, and from there to the Customer's Invoice. In addition, complete cost details are incorporated into revenue reports and inventory control.
When you complete a schedule slot, the information flows from the schedule board to the Work Order, to Customer's Invoice, to your Employees' time sheets, as well as to the labor costing analysis report.
It all makes sense.
Customizable
You have a certain way of doing things, and certain lingo and terminology you have developed over time. And at times, you need to do something a little differently. It's all possible with FieldOne.
Need to change a field name so it matches your own terminology? No problem. You can set up all the defaults, entities, and rules just the way you want them, in the Company Preferences section of the program. You have full control over the names of the FieldOne entities and how data is displayed.
On a less global scale, in a specific situation, you may want to override a default, such as charging a service customer a different hourly price or fixed amount for a certain supplier. That's easy, too. You can use overrides for labor charges and parts, when the situation calls for it.
FieldOne gives you total flexibility with your workforce management process, while retaining the overall logical framework.
Compatible
We're compatible with QuickBooks, Google maps, email applications, PDAs, laptops, spreadsheets, documents, and graphics.
Let's face it -- right now your data is probably scattered across a number of systems, and you'll want to import it into FieldOne. FieldOne is compatible with email, word processing, and spreadsheet applications, and can incorporate graphics and maps.
For example, FieldOne is seamlessly and tightly integrated with QuickBooks. You can import your data from QuickBooks in minutes, using the Company Setup Wizard. This one feature alone can save you hundreds of dollars in hourly fees typically charged by competitors for initial setup.
Once your data is in FieldOne, FieldOne will make sure that your QuickBooks data is kept in sync with whatever you add or change in FieldOne. You will never again be plagued with time-consuming double entries. Here is more detail on QuickBooks integration.
Even if your data is in another application, you can easily import information about field service customers, vendors, items, manufacturers, employees, and more.
FieldOne will even integrate your entire field workforce, via FieldOne Mobile, our mobile field service solution.
Your field service technicians will be able to use their handhelds to view data about customers, directions to customer locations, and information about which tools and supplies to take to each job; no need to call or text you constantly with questions -- and that saves you both time.
Plus, your field staff won't have to drive by your office to pick up paper-based work orders. They can start their day right from home, which means more service calls for them and more revenue for your business.
Scalable
No frustrating limitations on number of records, fields, or any other data. Your business will grow with this software, and this software will grow with your business.
Other field service software programs set limits on the amount of data you can store, and as you increase the number of records, the programs often slow down. You won't have this problem with FieldOne. There are no limits on the number of transactions that can be recorded, nor on the number of users that can be logged on concurrently - locally or remotely.
FieldOne is designed so that the end-users do not connect directly to the database server, but to the application server. This enables you to scale your application server to the extreme.
Internet Enabled
You get the best of both worlds - the security of a desktop application with the accessibility of the Web.
Because we built FieldOne using "Smart Client" technology, the heavy lifting has been shifted from the client's computer to the server side. It's been optimized so "clients" (user workstations) can connect to the server directly, without any intermediate software or services.
What this means to you is that the software program will work fast, no matter what kind of connection you have. You can work at home (or anywhere in the world, for that matter), wherever there is Internet access, and experience nearly the same speed as your local LAN.
And, you get all the benefits of an e-commerce application. You'll be able to accept credit card payments with ease, using the credit card processing built into FieldOne.
Plus, when we release a new update, all of your FieldOne client installations will be automatically updated when you update the server.
Helpful
We know this program, inside and out. We understand your business. And, when you call, you get us - not some far-off overseas staff with a list of responses. When you call, you will speak to the people who developed the program and have been supporting the program for years, for thousands of customers. We'll make sure we understand your difficulty, and then help you overcome it.
All you need to know to run FieldOne efficently is clearly spelled out in the software manual and interactive help, step-by-step. And we have some great tutorials. Still, every so often, you may get stuck or you may have a very specific question. That's when you'll get to experience our top-notch, sympathetic experts.
I want to thank your customer support and staff for helping me setup your program on my company's network computer. FieldOne was my second choice in purchasing service management software. After several months of frustration with my first choice, costing my company several hundreds of dollars, I have finally found a program that make my company's daily business life easier and more organized. I love your detailed work orders and smooth transitions from QuickBooks. The only regret I have is that FieldOne wasn't my first choice!
